No. 17 Lady Roadrunners Squeeze Past LSUE
AC Hosts Region XIV Quarterfinal Match on Tuesday

The No. 17 Lady Roadrunners battled LSUE to a scoreless draw for 85 minutes of Friday's match – in large part because of stellar net play from Lady Bengal keeper Catherine Beckman, who finished the match with 12 saves – but the lone goal scored was a big one.
Juana Bulla launched a long-range shot from outside the box, going top shelf over the LSUE defense to lift AC to the 1-0 win in the Lady Roadrunners' regular-season finale.
The Lady 'Runners (9-2-1) next will host a first-round tournament match at home by virtue of their Region XIV South Zone championship. AC's ladies will host Northeast Texas Community College on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the Larry Phillips Family Sports Complex on the AC campus. That match kicks off at 6 p.m.
The Lady 'Runners beat the Lady Eagles by a 4-0 score back in August in the teams' only matchup of the season.
